Ilze Marga is currently a practising sworn advocate and insolvency proceedings administrator.
Ilze graduated from Riga State Gymnasium No. 1 and has a Bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of Latvia. To raise her qualification, she regularly attends various courses and seminars on insolvency administration and other subjects relevant to a lawyer’s professional activity.
Ilze began her professional career at the Faculty of Law of the University of Latvia. After that she worked at AS “Latvijas Zemes banka” as a lawyer of the legal administration, AS “Trasta komercbanka” as a manager of the legal department, and SIA “Mediju Aģentūra Alfa Centrs” as a deputy director in administrative and legal matters. In her professional life, alongside Latvian, Ilze is fluent in Russian and English.
In addition to her everyday work, Ilze has also worked as a lecturer at the Latvian Maritime Academy and has given lectures on commercial law at the Riga Business College.
